Williams Lake is becoming more and more popular with mountain biking. With hundreds of trails around town, you will be sure to find a trail to suit your riding level.
In 2010, the Pedal by the Puddle attracted over 150 competitors in only it's 3rd year in existence.
The course takes you through different trails along South Lakeside in a 6 hour enduro style format.

Every Wednesday evening during the warmer months, a group of mountain biking enthusiasts hit the trails around Williams Lake.
Meeting at 6pm at the junction of Highway 97 and Highway 20, below the parking lot to the Overlander Hotel, the group will throw some suggestions out there to see where people would like to ride that night.
Riding time on most nights is around 3 hours, so make sure you bring plenty of hydration and nutrition to keep you going for that long.
Riders of all levels and abilities are encouraged to come out and ride with like-minded people.
Thursday night is Ladies Ride night.
Tuesday night is road bike night. We meet at Barking Spider at 6pm and choose a direction to travel in.
Rides take around 2 hours to return to the shop.
There are riders of all skill levels who come along, so don't feel worried that you will be left behind.
